Home Solar Direct is a UK-based lead generation platform that connects homeowners seeking solar panel installations with MCS-accredited and certified solar installers. We operate a postcode-based marketplace where installers register to receive customer enquiries within their chosen service areas.
To register as an installer on Home Solar Direct, you must:

When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. The platform operates on a postcode area basis. You may register for postcode areas subject to the following conditions:
Free tier registration is provided at no charge. Exclusive postcode subscriptions are charged at the rates published on the platform at the time of subscription. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Subscriptions are billed monthly and continue until cancelled.
We facilitate the introduction of potential customers to installers but do not guarantee any minimum number of enquiries. We are not party to any agreement between you and a customer, and we accept no liability for the outcome of any introduction. You are solely responsible for the quality of your services, your pricing, and any work you undertake for customers introduced through the platform.
As an installer on the platform, you agree to:
You are responsible for ensuring that any accreditations, certifications, or service categories you select on your profile are accurate and current. We may request evidence of accreditations at any time. Providing false information regarding your qualifications is grounds for immediate account termination.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, received complaints from customers, provided false information, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your postcode registrations will be removed and any active subscriptions cancelled at the end of the current billing period.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Solar Direct shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.
All content, branding, and software associated with Home Solar Direct remains our exclusive property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered installers of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
